Liz Martineau
President and CEO
Liz founded NLG in 2002. Liz was inspired to do this by her son with Profound Autism. She left her management consulting career, earned an additional graduate degree in Behavioral Education, became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Liz is a founder and Co-Chair of the Profound Autism Summit. Liz has her BA from Williams College Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and her MBA from Harvard University. She also has her Eds from Simmons University.
Amit Basak
Amit currently serves as the Chairman, President, and Co-Founder of Full Potential Solutions since July 2017. In addition, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Perch Insights since April 2022. Amit has also served as a Board Member of Nashoba Learning Group since January 2011 and as a Board Member of Digital Globe Services from April 2012 until November 2015. Amit Basak pursued his Bachelor's degree in Ethics, Politics & Economics from Yale College, graduating in 1995. Following this, Amit went on to earn his MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School.
Jim Burling
Jim Burling is a retired partner at the law firm WilmerHale, where he practiced antitrust litigation for nearly 40 years. He is a former Board member of the Center for Public Representation and of the New England Center for Children. He lives in Concord with his wife Peggy and has four grown children, one of whom attends the Adult Program at NLG.
Bob Forlenza
Bob is a founding partner of Spring Lake Equity Partners a venture capital firm focused on investments in rapidly growing technology companies. He has served on the Board of Directors of numerous companies including Art Technology Group, Classic Sports Network, Wired, Intelligrated and PhoenixET. Bob earned a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University. Bob has served on the Nashoba Learning Group Board of Directors for over twenty years. His son Brian is currently enrolled in NLG’s Adult Program.
Nan Leonard
Nan is a Board Member at Nashoba Learning Group and practiced corporate law at Palmer & Dodge until her triplets were born, one of whom has a developmental disability. She became interested in finding more effective treatments to help people with developmental disabilities and completed a graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis at Simmons College, receiving an Ed.S. degree in 2003 and qualifying as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In 2006-2007 she was a LEND fellow at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center studying public policy change in disabilities and receiving a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Suffolk University. She drafted the ARICA legislation which requires health insurers to pay for ABA treatment. Nan received her JD from Boston College Law School where she was an editor of the Law Review and her AB from Harvard University.
John McClellan
John is a principal at U.S. Boston Capital Corporation’s wealth management clients. In addition to working with clients, John is a partner in U.S. Boston Capital Corporation’s affiliated company, U.S. Boston Growth Capital, which raises money for high growth early-stage companies. Architects. John received an M.B.A. with high honors from Harvard Business. John attended Williams College. He is a Founding Board Member of Nashoba Learning Group. He was previously President of its Board of Trustees of Nashoba Brooks School, a private elementary and middle school.
Thomas E. Moloney
Thomas E. Moloney has been a United Parks and Resorts Inc director since January 2015. He retired as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. in December 2004. Mr. Moloney is on the boards of Nashoba Learning Group and the Boston Children’s Museum (past Chairperson), both non-profit organizations. Mr. Moloney received a B.A. in Accounting from Bentley University and holds an Executive Masters Professional Director Certification (Silver Level) from the American College of Corporate Directors.
