Elizabeth M. (Liz) Martineau

CEO, Board Chair, President and Clinical Director

Liz founded NLG with a group of colleagues in 2002.  Liz is responsible for development and implementation of NLG’s strategy and future plans; for ensuring that NLG implements state of the art educational and clinical practices; and for mentoring and supervising senior clinical and management staff. Liz has authored numerous presentations highlighting NLG’s clinical and strategic innovations.

Prior to founding Nashoba Learning Group, Liz served as a consultant to individuals with autism and their families and school districts. Liz spent 13 years at Monitor Company, a business strategy consulting firm, where she served on the Board of Directors and managed client relationships.

Liz holds an Education Specialist degree in behavioral education from Simmons College. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2001.  She has served as Treasurer of the Berkshire Association for Behavioral Analysis and Therapy (BABAT) and is a member of Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) and the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP). She served on the workforce development subcommittee of the MA Autism Commission. Liz also has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in economics from Williams College.
