• consultation001Classroom consultation. NLG clinicians collaborate with Classroom teacher or District BCBA to address classroom or programming issues that arise with one or more students.
  • Consultation for a specific student. NLG clinicians collaborate with District personnel to address specific behavior management or learning issues for a student. Work may include Functional Behavior assessment and development of a treatment plan and/or tailoring teaching programs.
  • Home Consultation, generally during School hours but with flexibility depending on the issue to be addressed. Topics include: parents’ role in behavior management, development of successful routines at home, addressing school avoidance and functional assessment and treatment of behavior issues.consultation002
  • Curriculum Development. NLG clinicians assist Classroom Teacher in adapting curriculum to provide students with programming that is appropriate based on the current performance of each student. This can include development of Vocational and Life Skills programming for older students.
  • IEP development. NLG clinicians assist Classroom staff in creating measurable annual objectives based on the student’s current level of performance and specifying the teaching procedures for teaching the skills identified.
